3686909 - Incorrect manager assignment of new hire tasks for rehire with old employment candidates post MPH - SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Symptom

  • After completing the Manage Pending Hire (MPH) process for a rehire with old employment candidate, new manager will be replaced by previous manager in ONB2Process, if leave the new hire tasks uncompleted
  • In dashboard, it shows previous manager and the new hire tasks are also assigned to previous manager

Reproducing the Issue

  1. leave the new hire tasks uncompleted and complete MPH
  2. new manager will be replaced by previous manager in ONB2Process,
  3. in dashboard, it shows previous manager and the new hire tasks are also assigned to previous manager

Cause

This is a Known Issue.

Resolution

Product Engineering is investigating a solution.

Workaround

Complete new hire tasks before complete Manage pending hire.
