SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking

1. Run Check Tool - No Selection of Parameters:
   1. Run Check Tool in Action Search.
   2. Click on the tab 'Validation'.
      
   3. Select Area as Time Tracking.
   4. Select List of users who can use Time Tracking features. (TimeTrackingUsageCheck).
      
      
      
      
   5. Click on Run Check button.
   6. Select nothing in the pop up (Check Parameters):
      
      
      
      
   7. Check is being executed as part of an asynchronous job
      
      
      
      
   8. 44 issues found - these 44 records do not represent actual issues but simply indicate the number of records that match the search criteria. These records reflect data that meets the search parameters, and no further action is required for any correction.
      
      
   9. When no selection parameters are entered, the result displays the number of users using time tracking for each company code.
      
      
      
      
      
2. Check Tool - With Selection of Parameters:
   1. Run Check Tool.
   2. Select Area as Time Tracking
   3. Click on Run Check button.
   4. Select Company (e.g. 1000) in the pop up (Check Parameters):
      
      
      
      
   5. More than 100 issues found - these more than 100 records do not represent actual issues but simply indicate the number of records that match the search criteria.
      
      
      
      
   6. This is an example where selecting a Company provides a further filter, showing a detailed breakdown of all the time-tracking features employees are using under their license. This list includes 65 unique users [refer to point 1.(g)] who are utilizing various features of time tracking. For example, the detailed report will show individual user information, with each user typically using 5-6 different time tracking features. As a result, the details of these 65 users generate more than 100 records in this selection.
      
      
   7. The above detailed list can be exported in CSV or Excel format.

Time Tracking can be subscribed for certain amount of people for a complete instance. The usage of Time Tracking is tracked automatically.

When an employee uses one or more Time Tracking features, they are counted as Time Tracking employees. It's not possible to mark certain employees as Time Tracking Employees. For instance, when an employees are assigned to a CICO group, they counts as a Time Tracking employee. When employees have Time Recording Profile that uses single record approval, they are counted as single Time Tracking employee.
