Symptom

The Manual print tasks  do not show all pending print tasks as expected

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  • Navigate to the Home Work Center. 
  • Open the Manual Print Tasks view.
  • In the Show All section, after selecting All Tasks.
  • Observe that not all pending print tasks are displayed.
  • This issue affects visibility of pending items for multiple users.
  • It appears that the list is incomplete, even though All Tasks option is selected.

Cause

This is the expected system behavior, as the system retrieves only the documents created by the user and the documents for which the user is the designated owner of the print queue

Resolution

To view all pending print tasks, navigate to:

  • Work Center: Application and User Management
  • View: Printer Queues

In this view, all pending printouts will be displayed with the status “Pending.”
