3687267 - Functional area overwritten during WBS element settlement posting in SAP S/4HANA

Symptom

During WBS element settlement posting, the system derives the Functional Area (FA) as follows:

  • If the WBS element has a Functional Area, this value overwrites the FA maintained in the G/L account.

  • If the WBS element does not have a Functional Area, the system correctly derives the FA from the G/L account.
