Symptom

Error message displayed: "Data exchange service is not activated. Contact your system administrator" in the "Process Payment Files - China" app.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  • Open the "Process Payment Files - China" app.
  • Observe the error message "Data exchange service is not activated. Contact your system administrator".

Cause

The option "Send Payment files" has not been checked for the relevant company code.

Resolution

Open SSCUI "Activate Services for Data Exchange" (ID: 500420) and enable the "Send Payment files" option for the company code.
