3687896 - Restricting access to compensation file via "you can also" option in Personal administrator Work Center

Users with access to the Personal Administrator work center can access the Compensation file using the "You Can Also" option, even though authorization for the Compensation work center is not granted.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Time administration or Personal administrator work center. 
2. Access the Employees view. 
3. Choose an employee and select an Edit option. 
4. Select the "You Can Also" button and Open Compensation File.

• The root cause is associated with the Partner Development work center and its Development view. 
• An Users with access to the Development view are inadvertently granted access to the Compensation file through the "You Can Also" option in the Personal Administrator work center.

1. Go to the Application and User Management Work Center. 
2. Open Business Users view .
3. Select the Edit option and access the "Work Center and View Assignment" tab. 
4. Locate the user with access to the Development work center. 
5. Remove the Development work center from the user's assigned work centers to restrict access to the Compensation file. 
6. Save and close the changes to apply the updates.
