3687924 - Unexpected activation of ‘System Certificate for Logon’ after Cloud Connector upgrade

Symptom

After upgrading the Cloud Connector, certain HTTP-based integrations (such as API Provider synchronization in API Management) start failing with HTTP 401 Unauthorized. The API Provider reports: “Unable to fetch data from the catalog due to incorrect credential of selected API Provider.”
