Select Rehire with New employment (RONE) for a cancelled candidate during rehire verification task, then the candidate is missing

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Initiate onboarding with Company 1 and set a future start date.
2. Cancel this onboarding process.
3. Initiate a new onboarding process with Company 2, using the same start date, first name, and last name. Ensure both legal entities are in the same country.
4. Complete the Personal Data Collection (PDC) step.
5. Rehire verification is triggered, and the cancelled candidate is listed.
6. Select "Rehire with New Employment" (RONE) for the cancelled candidate.
7. Candidate is missing from the onboarding dashboard.
8. In BPE: monitor the process and find a stuck job.
9. Review the error log and find Error Code: 36.
10. Navigate to Process Trigger; the hire type becomes "Legal Entity Transfer," and the rehire user is the cancelled candidate.

This is a Known Issue.

Workaround

Purge the cancelled candidate in time.

If Rehire verification task is triggered, select Hire as a New hire.
