3688200 - Hide Approve and Reject Buttons in Talent Pools in Succession

Symptom

Unable to hide or remove the Approve and Reject buttons within the Talent Pools. 

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Succession Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Succession module
  2. Go to 'Talent Pools' tab > Click any talent pool
  3. Approve and Reject buttons are visible.

Cause

The user has the ‘Approve/Reject Talent Pool Nominations’ permission enabled in RBP.

Resolution

Users can approve or reject pending nominees that are part of their assigned target population in Talent Pools.

The Approve/Reject buttons appear at the top of the Talent Pool screen by default when the logged-in user has the ‘Approve/Reject Talent Pool Nominations’ permission enabled in RBP. The only way to hide these buttons is to remove this permission from the user’s RBP role.

Currently, no other workaround is available to hide these buttons.
