Symptom

  • While attempting to change WBS element in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, it shows an error "You are not authorized to use transaction CJ12".

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to WBS Element.
  2. Click on the "Change" option.
  3. Observe the error message: "You are not authorized to use transaction CJ12".

Cause

The application Change WBS Element is not available in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition. 
This applications is exclusively available in SAP S/4HANA (Private Cloud and On-Premise).

Resolution

  1. Use the "Project Planning" app to access functionalities related to WBS elements.
