Symptom

You are getting error message "the selected data source is missing or can't be accessed" when accessing stories.

Environment

  • SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud Version 2

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Logon without SSO.
  2. Go to analytical stories.
  3. Open the story.
  4. You will get error messages, none story will open.
  5. Error message "the selected data source is missing or can't be accessed".

 

Cause

User is not logged via SSO (Single-Sign-On).

Resolution

Logon via SSO (Single-Sign-On).
