3688531 - Org. Chart Search Shows 'Home Assignment' Label For Home Employment Even When Global Assignment Is Completed

An employee had a Global Assignment in the past, during which time the Org. Chart search showed a 'Home Assignment' label when searching for the Home profile. However, this label is persisting in the Org. Chart search even when the Global Assignment has already ended, and the employee has returned to their Home Assignment correctly.

SAP SuccessFactors

1. Log into environment
2. Go to the employee's profile
3. Verify they had a Global Assignment in the past, and have since returned to their Home Assignment
4. Go to the Org. Chart and search for the user's Home profile
5. See the search shows the 'Home Assignment' label, even though the user is no longer on Global Assignment

Code issue

The current logic for the 'Home Assignment' label on the Org. Chart search is to check if the User ID being searched for is marked as the 'Home Assignment' for another employment (e.g. Global Assignment), regardless of whether that other employment is currently active or not.

This is a known issue which has been investigated by our Engineers, and will be resolved with ECT-260906 in 1H 2026. With this correction, the 'Home Assignment' label will only show when there are active Global Assignments considered in the above logic.
