Symptom
- When the "Leader on Site" feature is enabled, a dedicated row appears in the assignment detail screens, and the service call’s leader is automatically displayed if the assignment does not have one.
- Users can select a leader from the technicians assigned to the service call. If the setting is enabled and non-optional (
CoreSystems.ResourcePlanner.IsLeaderOnSiteEnabledandCoreSystems.ResourcePlanner.IsLeaderOnSiteOptional), assignments cannot be saved without a leader. - Whenever an assignment leader is changed, the service call leader is updated accordingly, and the change is propagated to all related service assignments, provided the user has
UPDATE_ALLpermission. - Furthermore, when an assignment with a leader is deleted, the system reviews the remaining technicians on the service call, updates the service call leader to the first available technician, or clears the leader if no technicians remain.
