3689176 - Business ByDesign - Migration from SAP Intelligent RPA to SAP Build Process Automation

In upcoming releases, we will introduce a streamlined process to upgrade an existing Intelligent RPA tenant into a Build Process Automation tenant with just a few steps. This means you won’t need to export and import projects between tenants, nor redeploy, create triggers, register agents, and perform other manual tasks.

Below are questions with relevant answers,

Are there any prerequisites, such as additional BTP subscriptions, required for migration?

• Additional BTP subscription not required.

If yes, do we need to configure the migration tenant URL in any services (BTP or iRPA)?

• Not required to configure any tenant URL. Changes will be taken care be automatically.

When enabling migration, we notice a warning about dual subscription. Will this result in additional charges post-migration?

• No additional charges for dual subscription or post migration.

If additional charges apply, could you provide a quote/cost estimation?

• NA.

If charges are applied, can we disable iRPA after migration?

• chargeable not applicable. It's up to customer to descope the functionality if it's not required.

If iRPA is disabled, will it impact existing automations?

• Once migration is completed everything from IRPA would be copy to BPA, where you can continue to work with BPA as usually.

If yes, what steps can be taken to mitigate this impact?

• NA.

Is enabling the migration tile the only step, or are there additional steps involved?

• Yes, currently setting the flag is the only step required from customer. More information would be provided in next rollout.
