3689239 - DRC report Romania Sales & Purchase Journal: how to remove tax codes assigned to tax groups in the Enhanced Tax Box Structure

1. In the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, certain tax codes should no longer be included in the Romania Sales & Purchase Journal output.
2. When attempting to delete the relevant tax codes in Configuration Activity 103011 (Define Enhanced Tax Box Structure), the system triggers the following validation error: 
   • "Deletion is not allowed. Tax Group is used in the mapping."

1. Run Configuration activity: Define Enhanced Tax Box Structure (ID: 103011).
2. Select Configure.
3. Enter RO (Romania) in the Country/Region field.
4. Click Apply to proceed.
5. Select the corresponding Tax Box Structure Type of the Romania Sales & Purchase Journal:
   • PJDT (Romania Deferred)
   • PJNT (Romania Normal Purchase)
   • SJNT (Romania Normal Sales)
6. Click the Define Tax Groups (Internal) tab.
7. Proceed to delete the records that contain unnecessary tax codes.
8. The error message appears: "Deletion is not allowed. Tax Group is used in the mapping."

• Deleting SAP-owned or shipped entries in configuration activities is prohibited (see SAP note 3222252 for more information).
• You must copy the entire "Tax Box Structure Type" with a new validity date to delete the Tax Box/Group from the duplicated version.

1. Run Configuration activity: Define Enhanced Tax Box Structure (ID: 103011).
2. Select Configure.
3. Enter RO (Romania) in the Country/Region field.
4. Click Apply to proceed.
5. Select the corresponding Tax Box Structure Type of the Romania Sales & Purchase Journal:
   • PJDT (Romania Deferred)
   • PJNT (Romania Normal Purchase)
   • SJNT (Romania Normal Sales)
6. Click the Copy As ... option (F6).
7. Ensure the "From Date" in the copied configuration is set to appropriate date.
8. In the copied configuration, it's possible to delete the records that contain unnecessary tax codes.
