3689355 - Error "Employee Time Type not Valid" when updating time model

Error message displayed is "Employee Time Type not valid".

SAP Business Bydesign

1. Navigate to Time Administration.
2. Select Time Models.
3. Search for the required time model.
4. Edit the time model.
5. Attempt to change the time type to the required time type.
6. Save the changes.
7. Observe the error message "Employee Time Type not valid".

The "Relevance for work schedules" field for the time type in Business Configuration was changed to empty. This field must be maintained for any time type included in the time model.

1. Navigate to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to Overview and search for the activity "Time Types - <country>".
3. Navigate to Maintain Time Types for Employees.
4. Locate the previous time type .
5. Revert the changes by maintaining a value for the "Relevance for work schedules" field (e.g., Productive time (1)).
6. Adjust the validity dates as needed.
7. Save the changes.
8. Return to Time Administration and update the time model to change the time type from old to new.
9. Once the update is successful, proceed with further configuration changes to time type as required.
