Symptom
- Learners do not have the option to remove self-assigned courses from the new learning experience.
Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.
- In the earlier versions, the option to remove a self-assigned course was available on the legacy learning as shown below.
Environment
Reproducing the Issue
- As a learner from library, search for a course and assign it to yourself.
- Attempt to remove the course from the new learning experience the same course you assigned above.
- Observe that the option to remove the course is not available.
- Observed that the option to remove the course was available in legacy learning view.
Cause
The 'remove' button has been intentionally removed from the 'Invest In Myself' section of the new learning experience. This design and behavior is expected and confirmed by the Product Management team.
Resolution
- The 'Remove' button is still available for users to review the details of the item on the course home page.
- If users wish to remove the item after reviewing it, they can do so using the 'Remove' button on the item details page.
- If you wish to modify this functionality, submit an idea for the Product Management team to review. Based on the votes received on the idea, the Product Management team may consider this for future roadmaps.
- Refer to KBA 2090228 - How to submit ideas to SAP for instructions on how to submit ideas.
