3689517 - It is not Possible to Edit the Sales Quote Migrated From Sales and Service Cloud Version 1 to Version 2

Symptom

An error You cannot edit the sales quote. It is migrated is trigger, when you try making changes within the migrated sales quote in Sales and Service Cloud Version 2.

Environment

  • SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud Version 2.
  • SAP Sales Cloud Version 2.
  • SAP Service Cloud Version 2. 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Navigation Menu and select the Sales Quote view.
  2. Open the Sales Quote PQR (where PQR represents the sales quote, which is migrated from V1 to V2).
  3. Edit and make some changes in the sales quote PQR and then click on the Save button.
  4. An error You cannot edit the sales quote. It is migrated is trigger.

Cause

The migrated sales quote cannot be edited in the sales and service cloud v2.

Resolution

This is an expected system behavior.
