When executing an API Task in Datasphere Task Chain, the outbound request to an external system fails with an error indicating that the client IP address is not allowed or included in the target system's firewall/IP Allowlist.

Cause
The API Task is executed by the Datasphere endpoint, which is the egress IP of Datasphere Node.js service.
Resolution
Please refer to Regions and API Endpoints Available for the Cloud Foundry Environment | SAP Help Portal to obtain egress IPs of end-points exposed by BTP platform. Put them in firewall/allowlist.
