Symptom

No cost center or Profit Center can be selected in app Post General Journal Entries.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Set the language to English in the app.
  2. Attempt to post a general journal entry.
  3. Observe that no cost centers or profit centers are displayed.

Cause

One possible reason is that, for all cost centers and profit centers,  language translation in English is missing. When the application is used in English, the cost centers and profit centers are not displayed.

Resolution

  1. Open the "Manage Cost Centers" app.
  2. Maintain translations for other languages, such as English, for all cost centers.
  3. Open the "Manage Profit Centers" app.
  4. Maintain translations for other languages, such as English, for all profit centers.
