3689734 - Condition type not calculated during standard costing run in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

During the standard costing run, the condition value maintained in the Purchasing Info Record (PIR) is used for costing, but the relevant condition is not calculated and does not appear under the expected cost component in the cost component structure.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Cause

The material’s gross weight is maintained as zero in the master data. The condition is configured with a pricing formula that uses the gross weight as its basis. Since the gross weight is zero, the system calculates the condition value as zero.

Resolution

  1. Update the gross weight in the material master data so the pricing formula can calculate a non-zero value.
  2. Verify that the condition is marked as Relevant for Costing and ensure it is not statistical (SSCUI 102386).
  3. Confirm that the access sequence assigned to the condition includes the Purchasing Info Record table (SSCUI 102387).
  4. Ensure the condition is included in the pricing procedure schema and that costing relevance is activated (SSCUI 102393).
  5. Assign the G/L account or cost element linked to the condition to the appropriate cost component (SSCUI 102622).
  6. Re-run the standard cost estimate using the costing apps.
  7. Release the updated cost estimate once validated
