3689924 - Shopping Cart Price Shows Zero after Item Type Change from "Limit" to "Material"

While editing In Revision Shopping Cart the net value field is reset to 0 when the item type is changed from "Limit" to "Material", even after a new price is entered.

SAP Business ByDesign

Shopping Cart creation.

1. Go to the Home work center
2. Go to Self Service Overview sub-view.
3. Select Go Shopping (Advanced).
4. Create a shopping cart with the item type as "Limit"
5. Enter the limit value
6. Choose Check, finish the shopping cart.
7. Note down the ID ABC (ABC represents Shopping Cart ID).
8. The shopping cart is submitted and the Shopping cart sent for approval.

Approver sending back for revision

1. Go to Managing My Area work center.
2. Go to My Approvals view.
3. Search with ABC (ABC represents Shopping Cart ID).
4. Select Send Back for revision.

Edit the Shopping cart after revision

1. Go to Home work center and Go to Self-service overview sub-view.
2. Select Track My Shopping Carts.
3. Search with ABC (ABC represents Shopping Cart ID).
4. Choose Edit and select Next until Edit Shopping carts.
5. Change the item type "Limit" to "Material".
6. Enter the product description, product category, quantity and price and select check.
7. See net price reset to 0 rather than entered price in net price field.

To see approval task

1. Go to Managing My Area work center.
2. Go to My Approvals view.
3. Search with ABC(ABC represents Shopping Cart ID.
4. See approval task shows "Approve Shopping Cart ABC - DEF - 0.00 XYZ" (ABC represents Shopping Cart ID, DEF represents Requester of Shopping Cart , XYZ represents Currency)

This is a known issue. The solution of this issue is currently under investigation.

Use one of the below following workarounds: 

1. Delete the existing line item and add a new row with the updated item type and price details.
2. Copy the existing line item, make the necessary changes to the copied line item and delete the original line item.
