Symptom

  • In ASE 16.0 SP03 PL12, getting a error during load database:

    Processed 3298 allocation unit(s) out of 3298 units (allocation page 65298176).
    100% completed.
    ASE has finished clearing database pages.
    Started estimating recovery log boundaries for database 'BIP'.
    Database 'SID', checkpoint=(64731877, 122), first=(14955437, 89),
    last=(64861827, 53).
    Completed estimating recovery log boundaries for database 'SID'.
    Started ANALYSIS pass for database 'SID'.
    Msg 725, Level 17, State 4:
    Server 'SID', Line 1:
    xfamily: failed to allocate 34816 bytes from Adaptive Server's main memory
    pool. 

  • Application failed with

        ASE Error SQL930 Database 'SID' cannot be opened because either an earlier system termination left LOAD DATABASE
        incomplete or the database is created with 'for load' option. Load the database or contact a user with System Administrator (SA) role.
