3690116 - Unable to Delete or Edit Page Layout in SAP Cloud for Customer

Symptom

  • Unable to delete page layouts.
  • Editing the name and description of page layouts fails.

Environment

SAP Cloud for customer 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Click on 'start customization' on the environment.
  2. Navigate to 'Layout Selection' and select the page layout (e.g., AB01).
  3. Attempt to edit the name and description of the page layout.
  4. Attempt to delete page layouts.
  5. Deletion or editing the layout is failed.

Cause

The layout name/description has 4 characters only. The name of the layout is expected to have a character length greater than 4.

Resolution

Create a layout having more than 4 character names and descriptions.

To delete the page layout having less than 4 characters, create a ticket to SAP
