3690248 - Password reset for external candidates accepts passwords longer than 255 characters - Recruiting Management

When resetting passwords for external candidates, passwords longer than 255 characters are accepted.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management 

1. Navigate to the external career site.
2. Create a new account.
3. Receive the email notification for password reset.
4. Enter a password exceeding 256 characters during the password reset process.
5. Observe that the password is accepted.

The Career Site UI has a limitation where the password field truncates input to 99 characters. 

Engineer has confirmed that the Career Site UI supports a maximum of 99 characters for password input. Please use less than 99 characters for candidate profile passwords settings.
