Symptom

  • After saving user information in the quality system QS4 through the Maintain Employees app in Fiori portal, an error occurs.
  • The error message displayed is "Unable to load the data."
  • The issue generates an HTTP 500 (internal server error) for the service: APS_BUM_EMPLOYEE_SRV
  • A backend dump is generated with the following details:

    Category: ABAP programming error
    Runtime Errors: ASSERTION_FAILED
    ABAP Program: CL_BUP_BAS_INTERFACE
    Application Component: BC-SRV-BP
