3690558 - Business Rule Visibility Issue in Full People Profile 2H2025

Symptom

  • Business rule onView is not functioning as expected after the latest people profile update.
  • Error message observed in the rule trace: "Could not perform set for 'jobInfoModel.jobInfo.field.visibility' because the context object is null".

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Search for an employee record in Job Information.
  2. Navigate to the Job Information section.
  3. Click on "Show Empty Fields".
  4. Observe that the field is visible despite the business rule being configured to set its visibility to "None".
  5. Check the rule trace log for the error message: "Could not perform set for 'jobInfoModel.jobInfo_field.visibility' because the context object is null".

Cause

This is a code defect.

Resolution

This issue will be corrected via Patch PTCH-48612 (2H2025 P9) which is tentatively scheduled for 16th Dec 2025 in Preview and 19th Dec 2025 in Production environments.
