Symptom

  • Error message F5201 "Posting Period XX is not open for variant XX and account category" is occurs when posting an MM Invoice using BAPI_INCOMINGINVOICE_CREATE1 or BAPI_INCOMINGINVOICE_CREATE.
  • Exception: "Validate Accounting Data (NPO)" may also occur.
