3690775 - E-mail Notifications Not Sent When Workzone User List is Mentioned in Feed

Symptom

When Workzone user list (e.g. @@memberlist) is mentioned in a feed, e-mail notifications are not sent.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Activities work center
  2. Go to the Task view
  3. Open a Task
  4. Go to the Feed facet
  5. Add a post by tagging a user list (e.g. @@memberlist) 

Result: Users in this group do not receive e-mail notifications, although "Receive Emails" is enabled for @mention & @@memberlist in the Workzone Email Settings.

Cause

@@memberlist is a JAM related feature, and users do not receive C4C e-mail notifications.

Resolution

If the feature/functionality is required urgently, please refer to KBA 3475641 - Functionality Currently not Available.

An alternative option may be to check the corresponding SAP Customer Influence Site to submit an idea:
