3690831 - How to add Item Text Field into Create Advance Return On Sales/Purchase Tax app in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

The field "Item Text" is not available in the layout configuration of the Fiori app "Create Advance Return on Sales/Purchase Tax" in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the Fiori app "Create Advance Return on Sales/Purchase Tax".
  2. Attempt to locate or add the "Item Text" field in the layout configuration.
  3. Observe that the field is not available for selection or configuration.

Cause

The functionality to add the field "Item Text" in the Create Advance Return on Sales/Purchase Tax app is not supported in SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Public Edition. Currently, there are no Business Add-Ins (BAdIs) available for this extensibility option. 

Resolution

It is currently not possible to add the field Item Text in Create Advance Return on Sales/Purchase Tax app. This needs to be raised as a feature request. Please follow instruction mentioned in this KBA 2963059 - How to Submit Feature Requests for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Product.
