Symptom
In certain situations, it may be necessary to delete a Service Call in SAP Field Service Management.
This requirement can arise for various reasons, such as:
- The customer has specifically requested the removal of the Service Call from the system.
- The Service Call is no longer needed (for example, created by mistake or for testing purposes).
In such cases, manual deletion of the Service Call using a business rule may be required.
Important Prerequisite: Applicable Only for Standalone FSM Companies
The deletion approach described in this Knowledge Base Article is supported only for FSM companies of type Standalone.
This means:
- FSM companies that are not connected to a backend system via the Proaxia connector or SAP Business One connector.
- FSM companies that are connected via SAP CPI—these can still be considered standalone for the purpose of this deletion approach.
Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.
