3691120 - Nameserver Outage Due To Port Blockage

Symptom

The nameserver became unresponsive and unreachable by indexserver. System_availability_* showed "no call received" status.

You have checked that no process was occupying the nameserver port at the time of the issue.

In nameserver trace, you could find errors like:

e self_watchdog    SelfWatchdog.cpp(00199) : Process XXXXX started at YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS.SSSSSS is in state Z, waiting for its removal
