Symptom

Space is replaced with Plus symbol (+) after completing "Provide Additional Data" in "Add New Hire to Onboarding". 

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 2H 2025

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to "Add New Hire to Onboarding"
  2. Add a new hire with first name "testdisplayname display" in the first name field
  3. Filled in values and click "Provide Additional Data"
  4. Complete the data collection and click "Submit"
  5. The message pops up: "testdisplayname display" has been submitted
  6. Click "Close" button
  7. The page returns to "Add New Hire to Onboarding". However, the message displays: New Hire "testdisplayname+display" is successfully added. Space is replaced with Plus symbol.

Cause

This is a Known Issue.

Resolution

The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on 1H 2026 release.
