3691200 - About the Global Protect VPN software installed with SAP service and asset manager in plant devices

Symptom

GlobalProtect is an application developed by Palo Alto Networks, and we use it as a VPN solution. Here are the technical details: https://docs.paloaltonetworks.com/globalprotect

We have checked the associated firewall and have not detected it filtering SAM packets.
Therefore, considering the above information, there are times when we encounter issue such as the following:

A SAM user (ICAZORLA) in production, after logging in and starting the login sync, saw that data began to download but it kept loading and never finished synchronising. It was ‘solved’ as follows:
1. Disabling Global Protect.
2. Running the synchronisation in administrator mode (without restrictions) until it completed successfully.
3. Returning to kiosk mode (restricted mode) after performing the synchronisation in kiosk mode.

Another user (XLOMBARTE):
Synchronisation error (Failed to establish a socket connection to the server) that was resolved by removing Global Protect.

Another user (VALFIERI):
The error has occurred again where, upon entering SAM, the screen remains blank and loading. The device has been restarted and an attempt has been made to enter SAM with Global Protect, but no error has occurred.
