3691381 - Non-Recurring Pay Component Screen Loading Delay in latest people profile

Symptom

After migrating to latest people profile the Compensation non-recurring screen keeps loading and sometimes the page did not respond. 

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Profile

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Search for any affected user.
  2. Go to the employee profile.
  3. Navigate to Compensation.
  4. Click the Edit icon for the Pay Component (Non-recurring).
  5. Observe the delay and unexpected exit.

Resolution

It is expected behavior of the system when there are larger number of pay-components available it will take approximately 4 min to load all the pay-components.

Workaround:

Navigate to:
Employee Profile → All Actions → Pay Comp - Non-recurring
Use this path to edit the pay component instead of the standard edit icon.
