3691407 - ExpectedRevenueDatePeriod Field Is Read-Only In Opportunity Overview

The field "ExpectedRevenueDatePeriod" in the Opportunity Overview tab is not editable.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to Sales Work Center.
2. Go to Opportunity Work center View.
3. Open any Opportunity ID.
4. Navigate to the Opportunity Overview tab.
5. Attempt to edit the "ExpectedRevenueDatePeriod" field.
6. Observe that the field is not editable.

• The "ExpectedRevenueDatePeriod" field is system-controlled and relies on the sales phase forecast.

• Manual edits are restricted to prevent data inconsistencies, making the field intentionally read-only. 

The ExpectedRevenueDatePeriod field is designed as a read-only field to maintain data consistency within the system. While sales representatives can continue to perform bulk edits on other fields in the Opportunity Overview tab, this particular field remains non-editable by design.
