3691546 - Mass Updating BOMs to 'Obsolete' Status Is Not Supported

The user wants to obsolete multiple BOMs to 'obsolete' status.

SAP Business Bydesign 

1. Navigate to the Planning and Production Master Data work center.
2. Select Production Bill of Materials (BOMs).
3. Use the search functionality to locate the relevant BOM IDs efficiently.
4. Hold the Shift key to select multiple BOM entries at once.
5. Choose the ‘Obsolete’ action to update the status of the selected BOMs.
6. Note: This process is manual and tedious, and currently there is no alternative way to obsolete multiple BOMs in bulk.

The system lacks functionality to change the status of a large number of BOMs to 'obsolete' in one go.

1. Navigate to the Planning and Production Master Data work center.
2. Select Production Bill of Materials.
3. Search for the relevant BOM IDs using the search functionality to locate specific entries efficiently.
4. Use the Shift key to select multiple entries at once.
5. Choose the 'Obsolete' action to update the status of the selected BOMs.
   
   If bulk updates are required beyond the system's current capabilities, submit an enhancement request through the Continuous Customer Influence portal at the following link:
