3691791 - Text Pool Entries Are Not Translating Certain Fields in The Work Center

You have created a Text Pool to translate the work center ABC (ABC represents the work center name) into any language.
However, some texts are missing in the Text Pool and that are not translated in the ABC work center.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Application and User Management work center.
2. Go to Text Pool Administration view under Customer Language Adaptation.
3. Select Text Pool BCD (BCD means a text pool) and choose Edit.
4. Go to the View Translations tab.
5. Search for the required text field.

The field is not available in the translation list.

The required text field already exists in another Text Pool XYZ (XYZ means a different Text Pool).
When a text is already included in an existing Text Pool, it will not be regenerated or duplicated in a newly created Text Pool for the same work center.

Identify the Text Pool containing the required field by following the below steps:

1. Go to the Application and User Management work center.
2. Open Text Pool Administration.
3. Select any Text Pool and choose Edit.
4. Go to the Search Text Pool tab.
5. Search for the required field.
6. Confirm that the text is stored in Text Pool XYZ.

Maintain the translation in the correct Text Pool by following the below steps:

1. Open Text Pool XYZ.
2. Go to the View Translations tab.
3. Search for the required field.
4. If the Target Language entry is missing or inactive:
5. Select the field and choose Get Translation Proposal.
6. After the target text is updated, open View Translation History.
7. Scroll down and verify if the translation is Active.
8. If inactive, select the Target Text and choose Set Target Text Active.
9. Save the changes.

After maintaining the translation in the correct Text Pool, the related texts will be translated correctly and displayed as expected in the ABC work center.
