Symptom

When you want to use the BAdI LOBM_BATCH_DET_QTY_PROPOSAL to obtain the proposed quantity based on your own custom logic during batch determination, you find that the BAdI is not working properly.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Activate batch determination functionality in the system.

  2. Perform batch determination functionality.

  3. Verify that the batch determination is not based on the custom logic maintained in the BAdI

Cause

An entry is missing in configuration activity 104422 - Define Batch Determination Quantity Proposal Procedures.

Resolution

Create an entry for the procedures in the configuration activity and assign it to the relevant strategy type/search strategy.
