3691921 - Impact of the New People Profile on SAP BTP-Based Address Validation - SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

• Inquiry regarding the compatibility of SAP BTP-based Address Validation functionality with the new People Profile functionality in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
• When saving a change on the address, system displays the following warning message: "The address of type home effective from 01/01/1900 you entered is either incomplete or does not match the reference data." 

Note: The date displayed in the error message should be equal to when the change is being made.

1. Enable SAP BTP address validation and type-ahead functionality for address entry.
2. Implement the new People Profile functionality in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
3. Attempt to validate addresses using the SAP BTP-based Address Validation functionality.

The Address Validation functionality is currently in the planning stage and is not expected to be available before March 2026.

1. Address Validation functionality is scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2026. Consequently, the universal rollout of the Full Profile View in the first half of 2026 will not affect Address Validation, as it is specifically linked to the Edit use case; therefore, Employee Central HRIS entities on Full Profile Editing and History UI will remain optional and not mandatory or universal in the first half of 2026.
2. Employee Central HRIS entities on Full Profile Editing and History UI will transition to an opt-out model in the second half of 2026 and will become universally enabled in the first half of 2027.
3. If Employee Central HRIS entities on Full Profile Editing and History UI are not enabled, the legacy profile will continue to be displayed.
   
   
4. As a temporary workaround, you may revert to PP3. Steps to switch back to PP3:
   1. 1. Navigate to Configure Latest People Profile;
      2. Go to General Settings;
      3. Search for the option: “Enable the latest Editing and History UI for Employee Central HRIS entities on Full Profile (Except Compensation Information)”
      4. Disable this option and save the changes
