3691921 - Impact of the New People Profile on SAP BTP-Based Address Validation in SuccessFactors EC

Inquiry regarding the compatibility of SAP BTP-based Address Validation functionality with the new People Profile functionality in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Profile

1. Enable SAP BTP address validation and type-ahead functionality for address entry.
2. Implement the new People Profile functionality in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
3. Attempt to validate addresses using the SAP BTP-based Address Validation functionality.

The Address Validation functionality is currently in the planning stage and is not expected to be available before March 2026.

1. Address Validation functionality is scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2026. Consequently, the universal rollout of the Full Profile View in the first half of 2026 will not affect Address Validation, as it is specifically linked to the Edit use case; therefore, Employee Central HRIS entities on Full Profile Editing and History UI will remain optional and not mandatory or universal in the first half of 2026.
2. Employee Central HRIS entities on Full Profile Editing and History UI will transition to an opt-out model in the second half of 2026 and will become universally enabled in the first half of 2027.
3. If Employee Central HRIS entities on Full Profile Editing and History UI are not enabled, the legacy profile will continue to be displayed.
