3691922 - Unable to set depreciation calculation start date in prior fiscal year while asset value date is in the current fiscal year

• An issue occurs where it is not possible to set the depreciation calculation start date in last year (e.g. 2024) while the asset value date, document date, and posting date are entered in Current year (e.g. 2025).
• The system automatically overwrites the depreciation start date with the asset value date when both fall in different fiscal years.
• Manual editing of the depreciation start date in the asset master (AS02) is not possible when the fiscal year 2024 is closed.
• The associated error message indicates that fiscal year 2024 is closed in Financial Accounting, blocking changes to the asset master data.
