3691973 - Local G/L Accounts for country France missing (CoA: YPCF) after creating new Company code for France

Symptom

Local G/L Accounts for country France missing (CoA: YPCF) after creating new Company code for France.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Cause

There will be discrepancy for the Local G/L Accounts in background tables SKB1 and SKA1 in the system, because of a current restriction in CBC.

This issue is only occurring for existing CBC 2SL or 3SL customers with S/4HANA Best Practices for FR implemented, who created new company codes for FR after the upgrade to CL 2502.

This issue is not occurring for new customers having implemented S/4 HANA Best Practices for France initially with CL 2502 release or later. The issue is not occurring neither for existing customers who did not convert yet to CBC 2SL / 3SL.

Resolution

When a new Company Code is created for country France after CL 2502 upgrade the new content delivered with that release is activated for background table SKB1 but blocked in background table SKA1. This means that for the mapping to the global accounts the new local accounts got activated but the accounts themselves are not existing in background table SKA1, so they can not be found in the system. There can be around 40-50 Local Accounts missing. Ensure that Local CoA for France is carefully reviewed.

There are two options for the new Company Code creation:
