3692008 - Unable to Create Subcontracting Delivery via Outbound Delivery API in SAP S/4HANA Cloud (Public Edition)

When attempting to create subcontracting deliveries via the Outbound Delivery API (API_OUTBOUND_DELIVERY_SRV), the system returns errors such as “Wrong input parameters,” and the delivery is not created.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Call the Outbound Delivery API (API_OUTBOUND_DELIVERY_SRV) to create a subcontracting delivery.
2. The request fails, and the system returns errors such as “Wrong input parameters” or is unable to determine the appropriate delivery type.

In SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition, the Outbound Delivery API (API_OUTBOUND_DELIVERY_SRV) does not currently support subcontracting delivery scenarios, which leads to errors during delivery creation

Currently, subcontracting deliveries can only be created via the Subcontracting Cockpit app (ME2ON).

Since this functionality is currently not available, it is recommend submitting a feature request through the SAP Customer Influence portal. This allows SAP Product Management to evaluate the requirement for potential inclusion in upcoming releases.
