3692016 - Workflow Link - Unable to process the request. No service is available for TIME_OFF_INFORMATION.

Symptom

When opening a workflow and clicking the link to a future Job Information change shown within the Time Off section, the system should open the Job History dialog. Instead, it displays the error: "Unable to process the request. No service is available for TIME_OFF_INFORMATION."

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to a user's profile.
  2. Actions > Change Job and Comp Info.
  3. Add a record with future effective date, e.g. Jan 1st, 2026.
  4. Change any Time Off field, e.g. "Holiday Work Pattern".
  5. Save > Workflow will trigger.
  6. Approve the workflow.
  7. Follow the same steps, but now with an earlier date, e.g. Dec 1st, 2025.
  8. Change any Time Off field, e.g. "Holiday Work Pattern".
  9. Save > Workflow will trigger.
  10. Navigate to Manage Workflow Requests > Find the pending workflow.
  11. Click the "A Job Information change will take effect on Jan 01, 2026" link.
  12. See the error display.

Resolution

  • Product Engineering is working on the fix for the issue
  • This KBA will be updated once there are further updates
