3692073 - Exam Item Analysis (CSV) report displays "omission" in Answer Choice Type field

"Exam item analysis (CSV)" report returns the "omission" value under the Answer Choice Type field.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Navigate to Learning Administration >
2. Reports >
3. Open the Assessments reports group >
4. Click on the Exam Item Analysis report >
5. Filter by an affected exam > 
6. Click on Run Report >
7. In the results, see that the Answer Choice Type field has an "omission" value.

The report displays "Omission" in the Answer Choice Type field when the user has not answered the question and closes the exam by any action other than through the Learning system (e.g. closing the browser tab, losing internet connection, etc.). This behavior is confirmed as expected.

1. If the exam allows the user to attempt it again, once the user completes the exam, the Omission answers will be replaced by the new ones.
2. If there are no more attempts, it is possible to manually allow more attempts for the user by following the steps below (as per Allowing Users Another Attempt to Pass Exams After They Exceed the Exam Attempts Limit | SAP Help Portal):
   1. Learning Administration >
   2. Users >
   3. Open the User record >
   4. Go to the Assigned Items tab >
   5. Click on the three dots under the Actions column of the affected Item >
   6. Click on View Object Details >
   7. Click on the Exam >
   8. In User Status, clear Finished and select Has Access >
   9. Click on Apply Changes >
   10. Select Return to Item Objects to return to the content structure and then click the learning item to repeat the process on the learning item level >
   11. In User Status, clear Finished and select Has Access >
   12. Click on Apply Changes.
