3692170 - Organizational Unit field in Infotype 0001 (PA30/PA40): Changes are not saved when PA-OM integration is active

Symptom

When attempting to change the Organizational Unit (Org Unit) field in Infotype 0001 (Organizational Assignment) using transactions PA30 or PA40, the change appears editable but is not saved after attempting to update the record. The field reverts to its previous value upon saving.
Customers may notice that despite making the Org Unit field editable or visible on screen, the new value is not retained.
