3692204 - Story Navigation Hyperlinks Not Working in SAC

Symptom

  • Navigation buttons (hyperlinks) used within the story to move between pages are not functioning in the production environment.
  • The same functionality works correctly in the development environment.
  • After transporting the story to production, clicking a button results in the error: "404 - Sorry, we can’t find this file."
  • Error is observed in view mode: 404 - Sorry, we can’t find this file.
  • Error observed in edit mode: Error [Protocol]: (#403) {"code":"userMissingPrivileges","details":{"stack":"See correlation id xxx","message":"User not allowed to handle InA request: missing DWC_CONSUMPTION privilege"}.

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise)

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to the Customer's tenant with Support User.
  2. Login to the backend customer's tenant via Support User.
  3. Open the story.
  4. Click on any page at the top of the story, including the main page that opened fine. This results in a "404 - Sorry, we can’t find this file" error in view mode.
  5. In edit mode, observe the error: Error [Protocol]: (#403) {"code":"userMissingPrivileges","details":{"stack":"See correlation id xxx","message":"User not allowed to handle InA request: missing DWC_CONSUMPTION privilege"}.
