Symptom

Message "Deletion not possible for record created by SAP" pops up when attempting to delete Reporting Entity in "Setting Up Your Statutory Reporting " configuration activity "SSCUI:101071".

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Attempt to delete the default reporting entity in SSCUI 101071.
  2. Observe the error message: "Deletion not possible for record created by SAP".

Cause

The records created by SAP cannot be deleted.

Resolution

Understand that the deletion of reporting entity names records provided by SAP is not supported. This is the current system behavior.
