Observe the General Ledger reports where line items assigned to cost centers show zero balance in the Amount in Object Currency column.

The behavior related to the amount in object currency has been identified. Specifically, the amount in object currency is populated only when the account assignment includes an object currency. In most cases, an object currency is maintained for projects, which explains the observed behavior.

For journal entry X, GL account Y is posted in both line items 1 and 2. However, a key difference is present in their account assignments:

In line item 1, the account assignment is a cost center, for which an amount in object currency is not maintained.
In line item 2, the account assignment is a project, for which an amount in object currency is typically maintained.
As a result, the amount in object currency is displayed for line item 2 but not for line item 1. When the account assignment is a cost center, the amount in local (company code) currency should be used for analysis.
