3692527 - Denmark-specific version of the personnel file interface does not support adding a tab

Symptom

  • The user interface of the personnel file cannot be extended by a required tab in the country variant for Denmark
  • This way, the necessary additional data for Danish employees cannot be stored in the system.
  • In other country variants (e.g., DE) and in the country-independent variant, an extension is possible.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Personnel Administration work center
  2. Got to Employees view.
  3. Select a Danish employee ID.
  4. Edit the personnel file.
  5. Observe that no additional tab can be displayed.
  6. Compare with employees from other countries, where such a tab can be displayed.

Cause

Functionality was never provided for Denmark.

Resolution

  1. A Hotfix has been created.
  2. Changes will be deployed to the customer system along with the 2602 release.
